Every year our clients come together to make sure that our hardworking staff are taken care of around the holidays! This year was undoubtedly the best yet. 🎁🎁🎁🎁 I’m incredibly proud of the culture we have here at the ranch. Everyone truly looks out for one another—not just each other’s horses, but also the people who care for them every day. I know firsthand it’s not like this everywhere, and the fact that we have such little turnover with both clients and staff really speaks to the #4heartsranch culture we’ve built. Y’all, I’m thankful…
I’m thankful for the 130 acres of heaven on 377 — a place that still feels unreal to me some days. A place that’s only 20 minutes from my home in Fort Worth, yet somehow feels a world away when you’re here. A place that so many of y’all have chosen as your own sanctuary too.
I’m thankful for a family that supports my dream. A family that is understanding when this place takes time away from them when I’m dealing with emergencies or even just the daily.. every day..
I’m thankful for my husband — who stepped into this life with only a small clue what he was signing up for …
I’m thankful for my loyal staff – the ones who keep this dream alive with me every single day.
And I’m thankful — so incredibly thankful — for you, our boarders. The people who believe in my dream enough to make it theirs too. For those who come here to breathe, to reset, to find joy, to feel at home.
But above all… I am thankful for the horses. ALL the horses. I care for them like they are my own, and I take the responsibility of their safety and well-being with the highest level of seriousness. They are the reason I chose this life. They are the reason I love this life. They are the reason I am who I am.
They’re also the reason why I get endless texts messages at all hours of the day and night, I’m always on call and work 365 days a year, why my phone is never far from my hand, and why my husband wants to throw it out the window most days. 🙄 But when I ask myself “why,” the answer is always the same.
It’s the horses.
It’s always been the horses.
And for that… I am endlessly, overwhelmingly thankful for you entrusting me with yours.
